Data controller
Maître Claire SUN, a sole trader, is responsible for processing enquiries sent to the firm. Address: 21 boulevard de la République, 06400 Cannes, France. Contact: clairesun@cabinetsun.com; +33 6 10 59 46 89.
Your first enquiry
You may use the general contact form, the acquisition form, an email link or the telephone. Forms collect your contact details and enquiry. Depending on your answers, the acquisition form also collects the listing URL, sector, preferred location, budget range and financing stage. Required fields are marked; other fields are optional. There is no document upload, payment or automatic booking. Provide the contact details needed for a reply, the subject, your preferred language and known deadlines. The firm will explain which documents are useful and how to send them. Without sufficient information or a way to contact you, the firm may be unable to respond.
Purposes and legal bases
An individual’s request for services on their own behalf is assessed as a pre-contractual step taken at their request. If an engagement is accepted, necessary data is used to perform it. Correspondence with business representatives and other contacts is handled for the firm’s legitimate interest in managing professional relationships and responding to enquiries, respecting individuals’ rights. Checks and retention required by professional or legal rules rely on the obligations applicable to the firm. Sensitive data and data concerning offences require additional processing conditions appropriate to their nature and the matter.
Recipients and confidentiality
Recorded enquiries are intended for Maître Claire SUN. After authentication, the code restricts access to the inbox to the owner account configured for the firm. Technical publishing and storage services operate the website and store enquiries. If a generic alert to the firm is enabled, the email service handles that alert without receiving the form contents. Correspondence and documents needed for an engagement are limited to recipients concerned by the matter.
Retention criteria
Initial enquiry data is retained only for the time necessary to assess and answer the enquiry and handle the resulting correspondence. If no engagement follows and no obligation or evidential need justifies retention, the data should be deleted. For an accepted engagement, retention depends on the document category, duration of the work, professional and legal obligations and periods necessary to establish, exercise or defend rights. Access to records retained for those purposes after closure should be restricted. You may ask which criteria apply to your data.
Form receipt and spelling suggestions
Submitted enquiries are recorded in the private site inbox. After authentication, the code restricts access to the owner account configured for the firm. Enquiry contents are encrypted in the database; the key is kept separately on the server. The service uses ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare D1 storage. A reference is displayed after recording. No automatic email acknowledgment is sent to the visitor. A separate generic alert to the firm may be enabled; it contains neither your contact details nor your message. This code does not add form values to URLs or application logs. Pseudonymised fingerprints associated with a time interval limit abuse and remain stored with the enquiry. Deletion through the firm’s inbox is manual, according to the retention criteria above; it does not guarantee immediate removal from provider backups. French spelling checks run only when you select “Check spelling”, inside your browser, without sending text to a correction service. Checking is not required to submit. Each replacement remains your choice. The checker does not assess legal meaning or factual accuracy. Avoid sensitive information in your first message.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions established by law, you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. Objection and portability apply in the circumstances provided by law. Where processing relies on consent, it may be withdrawn for the future. Send your request to clairesun@cabinetsun.com. You may complain to the CNIL. Sending a form does not automatically mean an engagement has been accepted.
Website operation and external services
The website uses the audience measurement described above only after your consent. It loads no third-party map or video automatically and includes no advertising tool. Search uses an index of the website’s public content. Search terms are processed in your browser’s memory; the search code does not add them to page URLs, analytics tools or browser storage. The copy button accesses your clipboard only at your request. Technical data processed by the publishing platform, its providers and any international transfers are described in OpenAI’s privacy policy. The Contact page offers email transmission, copying contact details and downloading a contact card (vCard), using the public page URL and the firm’s public details without including form values. WeChat sharing for articles and the profile uses a local QR code on desktop or copies the link on smartphones. Social networks are contacted only when you select their sharing link, and their own terms and privacy policies then apply. Directions and other external links open a separate service with its own conditions.
